Janie rode her bike to school today. Dada’s bike was flat so he had to ride Mama’s bike. Poor Dada.
BFFs
Peanut and Ethan have been friends since their Honeybees class. They also moved up to Butterflies together and now Dolphins. Love how they truly enjoy playing with each other at school and at the playground in front of our house.
Share Day
The letter of the week is G so there were lots of garbage trucks at school today for Share Day!
Riding with Friends
I think Peanut is adjusting to his new playground and classmates just fine.
Mornings with Dada
Mornings are rough for everyone but Dada does a great job getting the kids ready and taking care of drop-offs every morning. He’s even doing Janie’s hair too!
Thursday
It’s Thursday so Mama dropped Janie at school.
Every morning, Janie and her classmates drop off their backpacks in their class line for morning ceremony. They also take out their lunches and put them into a wheelbarrow and their recess snacks into a bucket.
Afterschool, Janie went to the gym with Mama and did some math on her iPad while Mama ran on the treadmill.
Practicing Q
Mama loves that they are using the Handwriting Without Tears Program at school. Peanut is learning how to draw a Q this week.
Tuesday
The kids are back to the school routine now. Peanut is having fun in his new Dolphin class and enjoying the new playground too.
Afterschool, the kids had snack with a video.
First Grader!!
It’s the first day of school and Janie is a FIRST GRADER now!!
We also busted out the bento box again for her school lunch.
This morning Mama and Dada walked her to school and watched the morning ceremony. They sang some patriotic songs and said the Pledge of Allegiance. Then it was off to her new class. She said Ms. Bliss is nice and Gavin is in her class again this year.
Art Class
Yu Ying (Janie’s Chinese school) offered a free trial art class today.
