It’s Monday and school is open for Peanut. The class was smaller than usual since lots of people are still on vacation but he he still had a good time. They read “Pete the Cat: Snow Daze” and then drew a picture of their favorite part of the book.
At the bottom, it says “My favorite part was when Pete drove the snow plow.”
This is the report we got today from school. This 4-year-old is definitely asserting his independence.
It’s Wednesday and there was a break in the rain so they still got to go on their Nature Walk.
It was a rainy day today and the kids were lucky enough to have a visitor come to school.
On Thursdays, Mama volunteers in Janie’s classroom and leaves notes in her pencil box. It’s funny how Janie dates them and replies back.
The kids went to the dentist this morning before heading to school. Peanut had x-rays taken and both got cleanings. So far no cavities but we have to do extra flossing on the back molars.
Peanut got to watch Pokemon while waiting his turn. Lucky guy…
Peanut also made it back to school in time for a special visit by a police officer and the mayor of Alameda.
Janie is working on her homework tonight so she doesn’t have to cram tomorrow. Good thinking…
It’s Wednesday so his class went out for their weekly nature walk. Peanut is in the back in an Ironman hoodie with his hands in his pockets like a cool guy.
Peanut got to do the calendar board today and also had fun leading his classmates in a silly game.
This keeps Janie on task in the mornings after Mama has left for work. She wrote a little note too. 🙂
