Kangaroos
The kangaroo costumes came in the mail today and the kids tried them on. They were so comfy they didn’t want to take them off.
Lawry’s
This evening, we went to Lawry’s for dinner to celebrate Mama and Uncle Johnny’s birthday. Everyone cleans up so nicely.
Look at the cute cups they give to the kids!
Everyone enjoyed some prime rib and all the sides.
It was so nice to have the whole family together at one of our favorite restaurants of all time.
We also went out for dessert at milk bar.
We couldn’t resist not following this request. 🙂
Goggle Hair
This is Peanut’s pre-swim look – completed with goggle hair and seaweed face.
Smoothies
The kids fueled up with smoothies this evening before kung fu at 6pm.
First Soccer Game
Team Spain had their first soccer game and it was against Uruguay. Janie played goalie for part of the game and then got to kick the ball around for the other part of the game.
We brought our chairs and wagon for a full-on sideline experience with everyone.
Peanut also rode his Strider around on the baseball field.
Here’s a photo of the team in their uniform! Uncle Henon and Uncle Jimmy are the coaches this season and everyone got a pair of matching red socks with paw prints on them. We will wear them at all future games together.
Flat Tire
The black car had another flat tire and this time it was undriveable. So we called AAA to pick it up and the kids got to watch a flatbed tow truck in action…in their pajamas.
New Goggles
Peanut got his first pair of Aquatech goggles today.
Nature Walk
It’s Wednesday so the kids went out for their Nature Walk today. They went all the way across the big street to the water today! What a pretty view of the Bay. Can you spot Peanut? He’s 9th from the right next to the girl with red sleeves.
