Janie had a performance this morning at school. It was a mix of singing and speaking parts telling us how we can keep our planet healthy.
We only got some short clips of the singing.
Here is Janie’s speaking part. She was too busy smiling at Dada when it was her turn and her friend Rory had to cue her. Oops. Luckily she still remembered her parts.
Jasper’s mom sent us a few photos and Dada was able to attend too.
Peanut had a special Mother’s Day tea event at school this afternoon. Each child hand-delivered a card and flower to each of their mommies.
They also sang a song for everyone.

This morning, Janie’s class led morning ceremony with the Pledge of Allegiance and their song for the day.
Janie got a series of Pokemon chapter books from Sophie and Avia for her birthday. She’s had them for only 2 days and has finished 2 books already! Thanks to Auntie Ranee for picking the perfect gift for her!
It’s fun to have all the cousins in one house. They all play together and have little conversations.

Peanut drew a picture of his big sister at school today and his teacher wrote down his description.

Today is Friday and also Share Day! Peanut brought an airplane to share for the letter A.
Mr. Bill also subbed in for his regular teacher today and read a book about airplanes.
This week’s letter is G and Peanut brought his garbage truck to share with the class. This best buddy also brought his – the same exact one!
Today, Janie’s Chinese School held a performance and Janie did a song and speech with her classmates.
She was super nervous but sang her song with all the hand motions and then gave a short speech in Mandarin. We are so proud of her for sticking it through and being so brave. That was probably one of the hardest things she’s had to do so far.
