Sometimes it’s hard being a soccer sibling. You have to sit around for at least 90 minutes while your older sibling is playing soccer. Today, Peanut and Maya entertained themselves with Pokemon cards.
Mama kinda overdid it today. We had a bunch of make-ups to do and they all got scheduled on the same day as Janie’s soccer game.
It started with make-up kung fu classes for both kids at 10:00 and 10:45.
Then it was off to Aquatech for swim make-ups for both kids at 12:00pm. We barely had time to grab lunch so we stopped for burritos on the way home and ate in the car.
Peanut was so tired that he fell asleep in the middle of eating his burrito. Poor guy. Once we got home, Janie had just enough time to change into her soccer stuff and Peanut continued to nap in the car parked in the garage.
We arrived at the soccer field by 1:50 to warm up for the 2:20 game.
Peanut enjoyed being a spectator and trading Pokemon cards with Evan.
Janie did well considering she was so tired from a full day of activity. However, her fuse was pretty short at one point and did better once she was moved over to Uncle Jimmy’s team to finish out their game as goalie.
Mama knows better than to schedule so many back-to-back activities in one day. We were so done after soccer that we also canceled on our dinner plans.
Today is a Staff Training Day so there was no school. Jasper’s mom was nice enough to invite Janie over for the day so she didn’t have to go to Yu Ying. In the morning, Dada dropped her off and Jasper made a schedule for the day.
They built a fort and also played in the cardboard time machine that Jasper already had in the livingroom.
They also had some time at the playground that is located across from his house and she saw a familar face there – ZOE!
After lunch, they made a gingerbread Halloween house and decorated cookies.
On top of all these activities, Janie also got an introduction to coding on her iPad with Jasper and his dad. What a fun-filled day!
The boys next door came over to share/trade their Pokemon cards.
This is the best. This is one of the reasons we had two kids.
We are flying to Cerritos this morning! Janie did a great job keeping her brother occupied while Mama and Dada had some work to do at the airport.
She also shared her croissant with him on the plane. So proud of her.
Looks like there was MagnaTile Party at Uncle Jason’s house tonight.
Dinner was at Uncle Jason’s house tonight.
Looks like their having a great time playing together.
This week at Tennis Camp has been extra fun because Zoe is there too!!
After Tennis, Auntie Eleen picked them both up and brought them home to have snacks a couple games of Pokemon.
