Good Times
Peanut seems to have a lot of fun at school. In the morning, he played soccer with his pals.
In the afternoon, he made bagel pizzas.
Floating
Peanut had his usual Friday swim class and worked on his back float.
Obstacle Course
Oakland Zoo
We went to the Oakland Zoo this afternoon.
We started at the Children’s Zoo and Peanut thought it was so funny that they had a door that was just his size!
The kids love the new gondola and look forward to the ride every time we visit the zoo.
Janie rode the new glider at the new playground.
The rides just outside of the park are fun too.
Soda Springs – Day 2
After a good night’s rest, the kids were back on the slopes for another day of snowboarding. They were so excited to see the snow shuttle arrive.
Janie rode the longer learning run today and was really getting the hang of stopping.
Soda Springs – Day 1
We went to Soda Springs and the kids spent the day at Planet Kids for some snowboarding. It was their first day on a board and they had such a good time.
Peanut LOVED riding the shuttle to Planet Kids from the parking lot. It was a snow jeep that pulled another cart for passengers.
Here’s Janie’s first ride down the hill on a snowboard. The kids spent the morning just riding down the hill on their own.
Peanut looked like a natural on the board.
We ended up getting a lesson for Janie and she worked on stopping. We paid for a group lesson but she ended up getting a private lesson because no one else signed up.
Planet Kids has lots of other stuff to do include tubing and an inner tube carousel!
On the way back to the hotel, we stopped for ice cream to celebrate Janie’s first day on a snowboard.
Yellow Belt!
Janie went to Kung Fu this morning and they presented Janie with her Yellow Belt from her test a couple weeks ago.
We are so proud of her!
Fun at Home
Its the new year and we spent the first day of the year at home! The kids played together inside this morning.
Then they went outside in the afternoon.
Heritage Park
Being cooped up in the house can really get to these kids. After a good park outing, everyone was back to normal again.
