Janie’s got the right idea but she still needs lots of practice.

For lunch, we went to the food truck place across from Costco. I think this is one of Janie’s favorite places for pizza.

She loves drinking from the box that Auntie Amy gave her. She was looking through the top to make “everything look pink”.

At Costco, she played with the stuff that she packed in her backpack and I guess it was bright enough for sunglasses.

Peanut also likes Costco and was sucking on his blanket while looking at all the colors, lights, and movement.

Lately, Janie has been staying at school longer and she loves Tea Time with her friends. She often doesn’t want to go home until she has her snack. There are a lot of kids that stay at school past 5pm.

We’re getting back into our morning routine now. Luckily, we have Yai here for a week to help us out. This morning, Peanut watched his big sister eat breakfast.

This morning, we all went to the Cerritos Mall. Janie loved riding in the bus and on the motorcycle.

She also helped Mama find some pants at Gap and then went hiding in one of the racks at Nordstrom.

Where is she?!

Then we stopped for a snack at Paris Baguette before Janie headed back to the house with Yai and Ta.

Peanut stayed behind with Mama so that we could make our lunch date with Mama’s friends.

This evening, we went over to Ankong and Ama’s house to hang out. Both Peanut and Janie were so happy to see them.

Ankong picked up dinner for us and Janie got all her favorites including fish and string beans.

It’s great to have Alice living at Yai and Ta’s house. Janie and Alice get some good play/share time together whether they want to or not.

What’s really cute is how Alice follows Janie around the house and wants to do everything she does. This evening, they took a bath together and then had some milk on the couch while watching Monsters Inc.

On our last day in Vancouver, it rained. Peanut liked looking out the window on our drive to lunch.

We met up with Auntie Amy, Uncle Jay, Ellie, and Amelia for lunch. Amelia had a gift for Janie and it contained more surprise eggs and stickers!

The two girls sat together and got to hang out one last time before we headed to the airport.

This evening, Janie helped feed Peanut his bottle.

In the afternoon after all the babies woke up from their naps, we all got in the car and drove down to the coast. Peanut was intrigued by the ketchup chips that Dada bought.

We stopped for lunch at a small cafe and Janie got some potato leek soup.

The water was so clear here at Davis Bay Wharf!

The babies were sleeping so this is the best we could do for a group photo.

Janie rode on Uncle Jason’s shoulders for a good part of our time on the wharf.

Peanut eventually woke up so we got some photos taken with him.
