We had perfect weather for our last official weekend in SF.

Since we got locked out last night, we didn’t get to go to Little Skillet like we originally planned. So, we went this evening for their tasty fried chicken and shrimp po’ boy.

I don’t know why Peanut was making this face but I thought it was cute.

Here he is in his normal, happy, hungry state.

After dinner, we all sat around the table relaxing. Dada did some reading while Janie played with Legos. Mama also did some reading while Peanut played with this toys. We’re gonna miss this place.

This evening, both Mama and Dada left the keys in the house as we left for dinner. We were locked out!! Luckily, Mirian was home so Dada took a cab to her house to pick up the keys while Mama took the kids out for dinner nearby.

They were well behaved and had a hearty meal.

After dinner, we went back to the condo and waited for Dada in the lobby. The intercom is connected to Mama’s cell phone so we were able let ourselves into the building at least.

This is what it looked like in the lobby while we waited. Janie did some push-ups while Peanut worked on climbing the lounge chair.

There was also a little bit of running in circles too.

Mama was home this morning before her doctor’s appointment so she got to see what Peanut does with Mimi and Andrea in the morning.

They played for a little while and then sat down for breakfast together.

Then it was time for jackets and stroller so they could go to the library for story time.

While Mama was heading to the bank, we bumped into each other on their way back from the library. Peanut was a little confused when he saw Mama in the middle of the day.

We were all up early this morning so we went to another neighborhood favorite for brunch. While we waited for the doors to open, it hailed for a brief moment! Janie was so surprised to see the tiny balls of ice on the ground.

Inside, the chef gave the kids a piece of olive bread as soon as we got seated. Peanut was so happy.

Janie played with her Legos while we waited for our food. She ordered a waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

The whipped cream was handmade in the kitchen and the chef also came out with a special helping of hazelnut chocolate for her to dip her waffle. He made a joke and said it looked like “poo-poo” and Janie was so amused.

We love this little French cafe and sad to hear that it will be closed later this month. It was a good thing we came here for our last hurrah.

For dinner this evening, we went to Paragon, another one of our usual restaurants in the neighborhood.

The nice server took a family photo of us at the restaurant.

Peanut walked part of the way home today and looked like such a big boy.

We went to Janie’s favorite Japanese spot for lunch today and Peanut could not get enough of the soup today. Surprisingly, he didn’t make a mess! Good job, Peanut!

Today was going to be a day with Mama because both kids have an appointment with the eye doctor.

They had breakfast together as usual and then big sister helped put on little brother’s shoes.
