Dada pulled out a piece of ear wax from Peanut’s ear today and called it a crab. Peanut drew a picture of the crab in his ear and accompanied it with a sentence.
Laundry Party
Sunday night is Laundry Night and the kids have been very helpful lately. They fold their own clothes and had fun sorting their socks into pairs.
New Year’s Eve
We are all so happy to say goodbye to 2020. To celebrate, Uncle Johnny made macarons and the kids helped out.
Mama flew back in time to enjoy some hot pot and to do the countdown to 2021. This was the first time spent NYE with the family all together. Happy New Year!
Aaaaaalmost!
We are so close to not needing a step stool in this bathroom.
Little Chef
Janie is becoming more and more confident with using a knife. She now cuts up her own fruit and helps Dada with prepping the veggies for dinner.
Making Eggs
Janie makes scrambled eggs for herself and Peanut pretty often now. Such a big girl.
Hot Pot
Turkey Cookies
The kids decorated turkey cookies today! The icing was pretty thick but they managed to get the job done.
Here’s Janie’s completed cookie!
Blankie Cape
I suppose the blankie cape gives him extra brushing power.
Family Board
At the beginning of the pandemic, we were using butcher paper to make lists and schedules on the wall. With the addition of this white board shortly after, it has become the focus of most days. With the new school year and such a complicated schedule, it’s even more useful. We have the week view for each kid and added a star chart to keep them accountable for daily jobs and tasks.
