It’s hard going back to school after vacation. Luckily she was happy again by the time we picked her up in the afternoon.
Back to School
Last Dip
On our last morning in Hawaii, we had breakfast nearby and Peanut practiced writing his name while we waited for our food.
Then while Mama did some last-minute shopping, the kids went into the pool with Dada one last time.
Before checking out, we took one last family photo on the lanai.
Our flight was smooth and Dada sat with the kids this time.
Janie also finished up her homework so she could turn it in tomorrow when she returns to school.
What a fun vacation! Can’t wait for our next trip!
Flying to Hawaii!
This morning, we got up early, took the bus to the airport, and hopped on a plane to Hawaii! The kids played on their iPads and did some homework too.
Peanut practiced writing his name and drew a picture of Dada.
Peanut took a nice long nap while Janie played her Pokemon game.
The flight took almost 6 hours but the kids did great!
At the airport, Dada and Janie went to get the rental car while Peanut and Mama picked up the stroller and carseat from baggage claim. Peanut found a pay phone and asked “what’s that?!”
We’re finally ready to start our vacation!!
Nervous
Janie had a response to Mama’s note this morning. I guess she’s still a little nervous about swimming in the ocean.

Peanut practiced making the letter “H” with sticks today.
He also did some painting! Yes!
Homework
Volunteering
On most Thursdays, Mama goes into the classroom to volunteer. Janie loves it and it’s also nice to get a glimpse into her school day.
Mama found this drawing she made. It was posted under a sign that asked “How would you like to get to school everyday?”

Peanut learned how to make the letter B today at school.

Peanut has been learning one letter per week. He practices drawing the letter in different ways each day. Today, he used a Handwriting Without Tears Magna Doodle. Yay!
