Janie gave Mama her Mother’s Day card this morning. It was wrapped up and labeled “Kaylee’s Mom’s present”.

What a nice card! It even has a pop-up heart in the middle.

Watch us grow!

Peanut wanted to do homework next to Janie so he wrote his ABCs. The only letters he has trouble with now are S and G.

This evening, Janie had Open House at school. It was warm enough to ride their scooters to school so they led the way while Mama ran behind them.

At school, there were all kinds of things to see. Janie wrote 3 ways she can help the Earth:

These are the items that were on display on her desk. She’s done a lot of work this year.

Janie also took a photo with her teacher, Ms. Bliss. She’s a great teacher and we are so happy she will have her again for 2nd grade.

After Open House, we rode/ran home and made it home before the sun went down. So fun!

Lately, Peanut has been super interested in writing, drawing, and coloring. He insisted on writing out his own birthday card for their neighborhood friend Ellie. Mama spelled out the words and he wrote the letters all by himself!

At dinner, he worked really hard on a color-by-letter picture.

At the end of the night, he drew a car (his is upside-down) and wrote his name on the new white boards they received over the weekend.

This week’s letter is F!

Peanut also worked on counting and sorting blocks.

We had dinner at the local Mexican restaurant this evening and Peanut drew a picture before the food came.

It looks like his name and two people.

He also wanted to pose with Rubble, one if his favorite stuffies.

Peanut is practicing the Letter I this week at school.

Janie made homework for Peanut and then graded it.

Peanut had a surprisingly easy transition back to school after being away for a week. They are learning the letter A this week.
