Janie went to Sonoma with Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle Jason today. Here she is in the car driving on the new section of the Bay Bridge.
She got a good 45-minute nap on the way.
She got to wander the Sebastiani grounds this morning before lunch.
She was a little weary but curious of the fountain outside.
It was already 90 degrees by noon.
It was much cooler inside the tasting room.
Uncle Jason got a quick hug and then was quickly denied.
I think she was missing Auntie Jia.
She sipped her milk while the grown-ups sipped wine.
At lunch, she ate like a champ and even tried eating with a grown-up fork.
The waiter also gave her a paper cup with a lid and straw.
What fun!!
She did a pretty good job.
Janie also gave dipping a try today. She really liked dipping her radish into the anchovy butter. Seemed like she enjoyed the butter way more than the radish and kept going back for more.
In the afternoon, we stopped at one more winery and Janie played on the porch while sipping milk and cold water. It was 98 degrees by then and way too hot for shoes.
