The Butterflies went on a nature walk today. They took a walk down to the lagoon to check out the ducks. So cute.
AIK
Mama picked up Janie from AIK (Alameda Island Kids) as usual this afternoon. She has a fun time there and sometimes asks if I can stay a little longer with her. I’m glad she’s enjoying her afterschool program so far.
Butterflies
Peanut is officially a Butterfly now and moved into the class with a bunch of his buddies in the Honeybee Class.
Today, they made playdough together and then got to play with it.
Quiet Morning
The kids had a quiet morning at Yai and Ta’s house. Peanut sang along to nursery rhymes and Janie did a couple pages out of her workbook.
Busy Bees
Peanut really stays busy at school with his buddies.
Janie and Gavin were also very busy building at AIK this afternoon.
Kids at School
Peanut had a movement class today at school while Janie played with some new toys at the AIK afterschool program.
Homework Time
Butterflies
Peanut has been spending some time during the day in the Butterflies class in preparation for his transition to the class in September. He seems to be adjusting well so far.
New Routine
With the new school, we are trying to establish a new routine. The afternoon starts with Mama picking up Janie from AIK. There are so much fun things to play with there!
Then we pick up Peanut from his school and head home. The kids wash hands and have a snack.
Then Janie does a few pages from her homework book while Dada is on his way home on the ferry.
School Fun
Peanut seems to really enjoy school.
