Janie comes home with piles and piles of cards and papers with drawings and writings on them. Apparently she makes them at AIK (after school program). Mama picked her up a little early today and found her and Gavin working on their cards and didn’t want to go home yet. It’s such a relief knowing that she enjoys the afterschool program.

One of the themes in their curriculum is “Movement Matters”. Today, they followed lines on the the floor and played with scarves.

Peanut played in the playhouse today for a change.

They also had time with the water/sensory table outside.

The class also went out for their weekly nature walk to look for ducks in the lagoon.

Mama is still off this week so she volunteered at Janie’s school for their science class.

Janie was super excited to see Mama at school. Here they are lined up to head over to the other classroom. Everyone had to put a “hand on a hip and a finger on the lip”. Can you find her in the line?

Boy, they really know how to keep this guy busy and active at school.

He also came home in such a grubby mess that he needed to take a bath as soon as he got home.

Auntie Eleen was sent this photo from school today. It’s Maya and Peanut having lunch together!! So cute.

Peanut and his class went on a nature walk this morning and saw lots of ducks in the lagoon.

Today at school, Peanut played with a giant measuring tape and had his body traced on giant butcher paper.

He also played in the sandbox (as usual).

The kids did an obstacle course today at school.
