Peanut was so excited to wear his rain boots at school today.

Busy Day
Peanut had a busy day at school and after. He had a special assembly and watched the Kindergarteners put on a puppet show. You can see him in the blue shirt covering his ears. Weird.
Then he played in the sandbox with his friends.
He also learned how to clean up after snack.
The teachers also took a photo of him napping. So cute…
Afterschool, we went to Mama’s old graduate school to show the students what normal development looks like. Auntie Teresa, Henry, and Hudson also participated.

Transportation

This month, Peanut is learning about transportation. Today, he painted a train.

On their Thursday walk, they ventured out to the bay and learned about the STOP sign on the way.

They spent part of their walk sitting by the water and counted the airplanes that flew by.

I guess this is one of the benefits to being located so close to Oakland Airport
Morning Drop-off
Today is Mama’s day off so she took Janie to school this morning and got to see how she hangs up her backpack and meets up with her friends before the bell rings.
Busy Boy
Love how Peanut’s school keeps him so busy and engaged all day. So happy to have him in this program since he spends almost 10 hours/day here.
Vacation Homework

Since Janie missed 9 days of school, we signed a Home Study Contract and completed an assignment that was prepared by her teacher. Part of it was to make a travel journal containing 9 pages describing what she did on her vacation.

“I went to Ocean Park. I saw a panda. There was an aquarium.”

“I had dim sum. I ate with Uncle Jason. I rode the bus.”

“I went to Disneyland. I went on Space Mountain. I went with my cousins.”
