Today Janie had her 6-month check-up and everything seems to be in working order. She sat on Daddy’s lap for the examination but still gave her doctor a big pouty lower lip every once in a while.
Here are the stats:
Weight: 19 lbs, 13 oz. (!), 97th percentile
Length: 27 inches, 88th percentile
She also got 3 shots (sad face) in her thighs and an oral med again. This time she didn’t cry until the nurse pushed the meds into her leg and her recovery was super quick. I guess those chunky sumo thighs are good for something!
