On our way home from school/work this evening, it began to pour and pour. Traffic was bad and it took us a while to get across the bridge. We also waited outside of Daddy’s office so that he wouldn’t have to walk home in the rain, which added our overall time in the car. Meanwhile, Janie sat in the back completely silent with a sad look on her face. She also fell asleep as we were in the car waiting. When we got home about an hour later, she didn’t want to walk so I carried her up to the condo where she just sat on the couch with the same sad look on her face. She felt warm so I took her temp and it was 100.5! No wonder she didn’t make a peep in the car. She usually starts to complain after about 30 minutes in the car. So, she got some Tylenol and just loafed around on the sofa with GG for the rest of the night. Poor baby. She seemed so normal this morning and when I picked her up from school this afternoon.
