After a quick nap, Janie was ready for more fun. We hung out in Emeryville for part of the afternoon and the first stop was Barnes and Noble. Janie had a good time in the children’s section looking through books, pulling them off shelves, and wandering around the area.
Then she got to ride in a shopping cart at Trader Joe’s and got her hands on some basil for the first time.
The nice checkout guy also gave her some scratch-and-sniff stickers. Cool!
