Dada had the day off today and asked Janie what she wanted to do today. She said, “Go to the new aquarium with the hammerhead.” She was referring to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and we had to break the news to her that we wouldn’t be able to go there again. She didn’t quite understand why we took her to her usual aquarium and almost had a meltdown.
Then we convinced her that her aquarium had lots of other cool stuff like the butterfly house, which she agreed to in the end.
